Shout Out to one of my padis, Chima Onyewuchi (@Chiwuzy) who helped me with Igbo lessons for this episode. I love you Todi.
“…and I’ll always put you first, maybe you don’t wanna let me cos you’ve been hurt, but I love you, I need you just like the air I breathe, so don’t leave me” Banky W, Don’t Break My Heart.
He called her. And she refused to pick.
He called her every single day for two weeks and she ignored his calls. Then he texted, he texted her after every call to tell her he was just checking in.
Nene did not need to be checked on, she was hurt, beyond hurt and heartbroken. Even though they worked in the same building, she evaded him; made sure his car had left the premises before she left home and made sure she came in very early, so as not to run into him.
She did not sleep anymore these days anyway, so it was easy to get up at 4am, get dressed for work and resume before 6am.
Jide jnr had noticed this and he had asked her if she was okay, he did not have a problem with an employee resuming early to work and working overtime, but he sensed something was wrong.
This news about a pregnant banker who sliced her husband's ''machinery'' during a fight at their home in Surulere on December 16th has been making rounds for some days now. but i only decided not to blog about it, because the story was just one sided. only the Husband story was told, and everyone has been castigating the woman, calling her all sorts of names.
Now , pregnant 31 year old Bimbo Danju has explained to Punch her own side of the story, and the reasons behind her actions.
Read the story..;
“Please, kindly judge this by yourself. As a pregnant woman, will I willingly attempt to cut off my husband’s penis? I ordinarily would not have said anything. I did not realise this will escalate to this stage. The case is being handled by my lawyer at the moment.
“My husband is not a hot-tempered man but he gets angry once in a while. He lied that he washes my clothes. He only did that once or twice when I was ill. We had a disagreement that day and he beat me up. My mother came to the house and took away our son.
“Without telling anybody, I went to my hospital and was treated. I did not tell him. But when I got home, he continued to harass me. He said I must ensure his son was returned to the house.
“I was so tired and I went to sleep. But in the middle of the night, he woke me up and asked me again to produce his son. We started fighting and he was beating me. In order to escape his beating, I had to hold his penis. I wanted him to leave me alone. I held on to it until I had a chance to escape.”
Let me start by saying I am not just disappointed in you but u have just proved to us that Nigeria is not getting better any time soon. You have been manipulated by a greedy and hopeless telecommunications company (MTN) because they sponsored your event and you forgot the ultimate rule that awards are meant to be impartial and should be decided by the general public especially when u told us to vote. You distributed the awards among four MTN ambassadors (Iyanya, Davido, Praiz, and KCee) and just oneGlo ambassador won (Waje). Is that not politics or is it coincidence? Now let us analyse.
The Headies 2013 was a flop, your stage was shaped like a models runway, the choreographers lacked ideas and didn’t interpret the music, I have seen a better performance from Nigeria’s Got Talent. What was the Gulder Ultimate Search theme song that was being played throughout the event?
Why did majority of the winners come from backstage, instead of coming from the crowd like it should be? I watched Nickelodeon Kids choice awards this year and it is far better than the over hyped Headieswhich was not properly planned and hurriedly done #shame.
Charles Novia is back again. this time, he's got something to say to women. Here is Charles's list of 10 Things Men Find Unattractive in Women but Probably Won’t Tell You. Read.
1. Excessively Drunk Women – When I was a boy I thought a group of drunk women was the move. When I go to the club now and see a chick throwing up in the bathroom, I get repulsed. Who’s mans is this?!
2. All the way turned up – Why I can hear you in a club on any night is a problem. It’s loud, there’s loud music, and still I can hear your voice shrieking over the speakers. Or what about those women who can’t control their volume when their drunk and try and talk in your ear but they’re screaming?
3. Negative Women – These women think everything is wack. “How about this lovely 80 degree weather today?” “This is wack, why these girls think it’s ok to be wearing their open toes?!”
4. Impatience – They hate waiting. They are the type to tell you to let them know when you have arrived at the restaurant so they can leave their house. They have cavities on each side of their mouth from sucking their teeth so much.
5. Teen Spirit Women: Waiting to be entertained These are the ones who are rimming the club waiting for the party to jump off. They bring nothing to the party, but will call it wack because it didn’t turn into a bashment. Although, they didn’t come to dance anyway.
Here are my simple tips for losing weight and keeping it off. They are all very simple tips. They all work for me, but everyone is different. I would honestly love to know what works for you!
I strongly prefer simple actionable tips, that work with what you enjoy. Nothing else will work long term.
Disclaimer: I have never read a weight loss book. I have absolutely no scientific knowledge.:
1.Weigh yourself every day. I keep an eye on my weight, by having the scales next to my shower. It may seem obsessive, but it helps me not to lose focus. My weight seems to fluctuate within a 2 kg range randomly. I don’t panic if it gets to the top of the range.
2. Water is the key. I don’t know why, but drinking water really helps me. The more water I drink, the better my body functions. (If you don’t like water, put a few drops of apple juice in the glass to give it some flavor.) And I don’t stop drinking before I weigh myself, because I would be kidding myself. Weight loss starts with honesty to yourself.
3. Avoid processed foods. The basic rule – all packaged, processed food is unhealthy. I avoid it, where possible. Not easy, but worth the effort. The interest of food companies is certainly NOT your health.
4. Avoid sugary drinks and fast food You know it. Don’t be fooled by low calorie or diet claims. These foods and drinks are only making you fat and miserable.
5. Get 7 hours of quality sleep. Staying healthy is about basics. Water and sleep are my basics. I make sure I get enough sleep. I aim for 7 hours minimum and 8 hours at the weekend. I also have a really good quality bed, to make sure I get quality sleep. I know a good bed is not cheap, but it is one of life’s bargains because quality of life is much higher if you get good sleep. And it helps my body function better. Strange but true.

The Governor’s Car was badly affected but both occupants of the Peugeot J5 Bus and that of the Governor’s sustained no injuries.
Mercy Johnson-Okojie has a message for you guys, read it below:
2013 has been an incredible year for me. I couldn’t ask for more. It is one year I won’t forget in a hurry.
My fans were amazing. They stood by me and took on my fight. The critics played their parts too. I took the constructive ones, made adjustment and became a better person.
How can I forget 2013, the year I had the honour of being the most searched Nollywood actress for the third consecutive year. I am most grateful to the fans who worked the keyboard or keypad reading about me online.
I am grateful to my team, the media and management company, BigsamMedia that became like sponge, wiping away the negative past and soaking in the future. I am most grateful.

Culled. Famous Nollywood Yoruba actress, Mosun Filani has rubbished a report by a blog, a couple of weeks back, that she has passed on. She added that it was the handiwork of her detractors. Speaking with Encomium magazine, she said “That’s strange o! How can anybody say I am dead when I am still alive? It’s a wicked rumour, and I believe it emanated from enemies of progress. I am not even sick, let alone dying. The rumour is weighty, and it can never be my portion in Jesus name.

Microdermabrasion is a powerful, machine-assisted skin-exfoliating treatment and is an effective alternative to costlier and more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, chemical peels and Botox injections. It works best on improving conditions on the surface of the skin such as sun damage, fine lines, age spots, enlarged pores, acne, and superficial scarring. Although the face is the most common area for microdermabrasion, any skin area, including neck, chest, back, and hands, may be treated. KOB brings to you all the info about microdermabrasion and how it works.
MICRODERMABRASION IS PAINLESS
Its a procedure using a combination of a fine abrasive tip on the skin. No needles or anesthetics are required for this procedure. Its often compared to the feeling of a cat licking your face. That sounds cool right??Typical microdermabrasion sessions can last anywhere from five to 60 minutes.
Omg! the story you are about to read is not a scene from any nollywood movie. it happened live! and i am yet to get over the wickedness in the heart of this 17 year old..
Read the story below:
A very scary event took place recently at Utak Street, off Nkemba Street, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Three months ago, a busy working class single mum employed a 17 year old girl to help take care of her 2 year old daughter.
Recently, while the lady was engrossed with a TV programme, her daughter needed attention and she called the help more than three times and the help kept responding that she was in the toilet. When it became unnecessarily too long, she tiptoed into the help's room and opened the toilet door. To her horror, she met the help squatting with blood all over the bathroom with a stillborn newly delivered baby hanging in-between her legs. She screamed and ran out of her apartment into the street. The entire neighbourhood came out and it took the intervention of neighbours to calm her down. The neighbours also helped rushed the help to the hospital. While in the hospital, she refused treatment and claimed she drank herbs and was given some to insert in her vagina to force the baby out. The help said she was warned not to allow orthodox medical treatment.
When asked, the help explained that the pregnancy was six months old. Her employer said she didn't know she was pregnant as she is a very slim girl and she thought that the small protruding tommy was just an evidence of good living with her. She was smart in discharge of her duties, so there was nothing to suspect.
The help was sent parking afterward.
View the very graphic photos of the stillborn after the cut. but please viewer;s discretion is highly advised.
One Ambrose Agu sent this into my mail, a few hours back. i think the issue of Clara Chime, and the hubby, Enugu state gov.Chime has been over flogged enough by the media. I think Clara should be left alone to heal from all the pains she has gone through. i also think she has the absolute right to grant interviews about things that concerns her life and well being without being manipulated or used by anybody. and i am not taking her sides, because i am a woman. its just the way things should be. that being said, please proceed to read this letter, written by one Morris Ngene. and i really need you guys to comment on this post. i would love to know your take on the issues going on between Clara and her Hubby Chime.
Mrs. Clara Chime, Her Hidden Handlers and a Naked Dance in the Market Square
By Morris Ngene
Enugu, Enugu State
No sooner than the public had thought that the family matter of the estranged wife of the Enugu State Governor , Mrs. Clara Chime and her husband had died down, than Mrs. Chime and her hidden handlers decided to re-assault public sensibilities by washing the woman’s dirty linen in public, yet again. Recently Mrs. Clara Chime granted an interview to ChannelsTV on the subject matter of her mental illness alleging that he husband caused it. This decision by Mrs. Clara Chime and her handlers to rehash and reintroduce this private family matter into the public domain again is clearly against good judgment, counterproductive and unfortunate. And while her handlers may have convinced Mrs. Chime that a public rehash of these matters is in her interest, it is all too clear that these unseen hands now using Mrs. Chime as a political tool only care about how much mud they can throw on Governor Chime through the salacious scandal. Clearly, they do not care about Mrs. Chime, and apparently they have nothing to lose by continuing to manipulate Mrs. Chime to keep on making a public spectacle of herself and her illness.

Wetin we go do now? How we go do am? You fit talk to your boyfriend? maybe e go fit help. Nne, talk na!
The words echoed in her head as she tried to bury her head in work. She had not felt like coming to work, she had not felt like getting up from the bed and she had not felt like waking up.
The Fowlers were responsible for Mercy’s incarceration, who had snitched Nene was yet to find out but one thing she knew was that Jaiye must have known about it. He must have known they were ready to strike because the Fowler clan was a close knit family, yet he had watched them make the move, he had watched them hurt her. So much for the girlfriend title he gave to her.
Biko talk to your boyfriend, e fit help us.
Godwin’s words were still echoing in her head, she remembered her response to him while she got dressed for work.
He is not my boyfriend.
The words had made her heart sink, the man she loved had delivered her foolish sister into the uncompromising hands of the NDLEA. It served Mercy right, now she would learn not to act on impulse and shut her reasoning down while she embarked on unsafe adventures.
Nene abandoned the pen in her hands and leaned her head on the chair she was sitting on, she could not lie to herself anymore, burying her head in work was doing scarce nothing to erase Jaiye from her mind and to stop her from worrying about her little sister.
She contemplated going to Jaiye, to plead with him to pull whatever strings he could to save her sister and then walk away from their relationship forever. Her ego held her back but her common sense told her to go.
And so when it was lunch time, she picked her bag and headed to his office.
He had been in a meeting when she arrived and his new Personal Assistant; a long legged curvaceous beauty, had poked her head out of the office to inform her that Jaiye would be with her shortly.
Nene instantly hated the Personal assistant, she was chocolate skinned and had full breasts, large hips and a big buttocks to go with it. Her smile was bright and it lit her face, she was the type who got all the attention at parties and in a room full of men. Nene wondered if Jaiye thought about her that way.
He emerged through the door some fifteen minutes later, shaking hands with the people he had just had a meeting with and saying his goodbye. His personal assistant smiled through every word and giggled like a school girl even when all he did was nod.
Jaiye had the effect he had on her on his personal Assistant, Nene noted and it unnerved her to know that this beauty was working as his assistant and probably went everywhere with him. Nene allowed herself a full minute of assessing the new assistant, she was wearing a figure hugging, knee length peach dress and black heels and even though her hair was kept short, it did not stop her from being so attractive.
Nene watched Jaiye say to her, “Ese, drop the minutes of that meeting on my table before you leave tonight and send a mail to Mazi, informing him of the meeting, how it went and copy me in the mail please.”

Former President Obasanjo released a media statement today through his Media aide, Tunde Oladunjoye, saying that he will not react to president Jonathan's reply to his letter, and that he has accomplished his aim of bringing President Jonathan's attention to important national issues and therefore has nothing else to say to him
Read the statement:
“Since the publication of the letter written by the President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, which was in response to the letter earlier written by revered former President Olusegun Obasanjo; we have received several requests from local & international media asking to know Chief Obasanjo’s reaction to Mr. President’s response.
Mercy Johnson Okojie is the highest paid actress in Nollywood right now.
Besides being one of the most sought after actresses, the dark skinned actress has placed herself on a pedestal where she now charges up to N2million fee for a movie.
In the last few years, films with Mercy Johnson’s name and face in it, have some what become an indication that the film will turn-out a best-seller. Recognising this fact, it is no wonder the actress has pushed up her fees high up for marketers and producers who request her to feature in their flicks.
A few months ago, the Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN) threatened to ban the actress for allegedly becoming exorbitant with her fees, which have shot up as high up as N2m for a movie role, while the rest of her peers are paid between N700,000 and N1.2million.
A 30-year-old man who came to witness a wedding ended up as the bridegroom in a kind gesture as the bridegroom-to-be failed to turn up to tie the knot on Wednesday, Times of India reported.
Ponradha, 23, daughter of Palpandi of Lakshmimanagaram near Arumuganeri in Kanyakumari district was betrothed to be married to Sithiraivelu, 35, son of Jayaraman of Lakshmipuram in Kayalpattinam of the same district. The wedding was to be held on Wednesday and arrangements were on in full swing in the bride’s hometown.
After all the silence and hullabaloo :), President Jonathan has finally deemed it fit to reply the open letter addressed to him by the former president Obasanjo. It was such a stinker!, and in it, Obasanjo accused Jonathan of kind of deliberately watching Nigeria sink...
I wish to formally acknowledge your letter dated December 2, 2013 and other previous correspondence similar to it.
You will recall that all the letters were brought to me by hand. Although both of us discussed some of the issues in those letters, I had not, before now, seen the need for any formal reply since, to me, they contained advice from a former President to a serving President. Obviously, you felt differently because in your last letter, you complained about my not acknowledging or replying your previous letters.
It is with the greatest possible reluctance that I now write this reply. I am most uneasy about embarking on this unprecedented and unconventional form of open communication between me and a former leader of our country because I know that there are more acceptable and dignified means of doing so.
But I feel obliged to reply your letter for a number of reasons: one, you formally requested for a reply and not sending you one will be interpreted as ignoring a former President.

I wont be showing Maheeda's nude photos on this blog, cos this blog is against nudity in all its forms.I know so many blogs have given her all the attention she craves, but not me. Even Juliet Ibrahim should know better than posing almost nude(like a stripper) on her Christmas card..i feel celebrity status turns people's head these days.
i am 100% with Charles on this one. how would you claim being naked on cards define the real you??? on a Christmas card? God forgive them cos they know not what they do.
How can two students die in 1 week with the same heart problem, same region, same hospital, same Cardiology department?…My friends when you are in Ukraine and you fall sick, please before you call for the ambulance make sure you have some money with you, because whether the ambulance comes and takes you to hospital and you don’t have money, no treatment will be given to you.
These Ukrainians don’t care about you whether you are dying, all they want is money. Poor Teresa and the other student died because all the doctors wanted was money. They said there was no medicine to treat them. How?… (RIP)
Its no longer news that Singer, Emma Nyra has parted ways with Iyanya’s music label, Made Men Music, for reasons unknown. Although, there has been denial from her about this before, she is now confirming the split. and in this exclusive with ChannelsTV, Emma claims she now prefers to work with female artistes....she says she is more interested in ‘female movement’.
In this very revealing interview she granted exclusively to Channels Television,
The Enugu State First Lady Clara Chime debunked claims that she had mental problems. She said the depression she had was as a result of the maltreatment she got while in Chime's house. She also recounted the ordeals she passed through in the hands of the Enugu state governor, Chime.
