Let’s talk about your hair. You have different colours all the time. What inspired this one you are wearing? My favourite colour is red. I have always dyed my hair red right from time. I have many pictures of it. I think I have maltreated my natural hair so much that it has almost fallen off.
Is this your real hair?Yes.
Can I touch it?Yes you can. It’s my real hair, because I paid for it.
You once said you lied a lot when you were a child. Do you still lie now?No, I don’t. I did not like the cane when I was a child. So, I reasoned it would be best to lie myself out of every situation. Then, when I lied, you would even begin to pity me. But now, I say it as it is. I come out plain and simple; even when situations require that I lie to save myself, I just don’t. I think I’ve outgrown it.
How old are you?I am 31. I was born on the 13th of June. (Flip) the numbers 13; that’s my age. I’m sure I don’t look it. It’s good. I can get away with anything.
I’m sure the right people have started asking the right question. When are you planning on settling down?Everybody, in fact, is asking me that question o. And I remember back then I would say when I am 30 I would marry. But now, I have passed 30. Linda Ikeji and I were talking marriage last week. She said I still have to get my life together. You know, my life is scattered. I am here and there. I don’t think I can find a woman that can cope [with that].

APC said: “Voting in Ekiti may have been free of the usual violence or manipulation at the collation centres, but the entire electoral process in the state was neither free, fair nor credible. “Therefore, in order to prevent a recurrence of what happened in Ekiti, especially the militarization of the process, the harassmentand intimidation of citizens, especially those in opposition, my party has decided to challenge in court the role of the military in policing elections. “We will also encourage our leaders and supporters, who were arrested, harassed and intimidated to seek the enforcement of their constitutionally-guaranteed fundamental rights that were recklessly abridged by the security agencies, especially soldiers. “Our decision to act is not only to ensure that these irresponsible and unconstitutional acts are not repeated in subsequent elections, especially that in Osun in August and next year’s general elections, but also because we have always said that evil thrives when good men do nothing!,” the party said.

There has been contradictory accounts of the explosion that rocked Folawiyo axis of Creek Road, Apapa in Lagos Wednesday night.
Residents are of the opinion that it was a bomb blast as opposed the Police claim that a tanker carrying fuel burst into flames in the area while led to the loud sound. The Director of the State Fire Service was also contacted by journalists and he said the explosion wasn't a bomb blast but a gas explosion, a report which contradicts that of the Police.
However journalists and residents of the affected area in Apapa have vowed not to le the government deceive them because it was clear that what happened was a bomb blast and not a gas explosion or a fuel tanker that bursted into flames.
One Adaobi a staff of the company whose building was affected by the blast spoke to Vanguard saying, she still can’t come to terms with the fact that insurgency is now at her doorsteps.
“I cannot believe what I have seen today. I have been thinking that all these bombings and killings occurring in the northern part of the country, which I read about in the papers, will never get to the south.
“I have never thought that Boko Haram, whose aim, I think, is to create an Islamic Caliphate in the entire northern Nigeria, would ever come to the south. But what I have seen today is shocking.
“When I looked at my office building, I discovered that the glasses on the entire building were destroyed by the blast and I wondered where we are heading to”, she said.
Even though Vanguard didn’t directly say it wasn’t a gas explosion or a fuel tanker bursting into flames, they made it clear that it was a car bomb blast.

Some members of the Islamist sect, Boko Haram, arrested yesterday at Mairi ward behind University of Maiduguri by members of the Civilian JTF vigilante group, have confessed that most of them are fleeing the Sambisa Forest to areas across Borno State owing to what they believe is spiritual attacks from mysterious snakes and bees, which had killed many of their leaders. According to Kolo Mustapha, one of the arrested insurgents, “most of us are fleeing because there are too many snakes and bees now in the forest. Once they bite, they disappear and the victims do not last for 24 hours. “We were told that the aggrieved people who had suffered from our deadly mission, including the ghosts of some of those we killed, are the ones turning into the snake and bees.” ‘Our leaders fled, too’

Governor Kayode Fayemi’s concession of victory to his opponent, Ayodele Fayose has continued to draw commendations from far and wide and even from normally hostile quarters. One of such normally hostile forces, Chief Olabode George, the erstwhile deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP asserts that Fayemi has made a gesture that history will not easily forget. He said: I was shocked but at the same time extremely happy when I heard it. He has made a first in this country and history will never forget that gesture. His name will be in gold among decent, civilised politicians. People always think that politicians are a bunch of ruffians and they don’t know what they are doing. My feelings towards Gov. Fayemi; because I know him, I told him once that he was in a wrong party but I congratulate him for that magnanimity, that sense of decency, that uncommon courage.

Beyoncé is ready to return to the big screen, and she may just have signed on for a project with Will Smith! according to Yolanda Bey will be playing a character named Carly Kicker in Hancock 2. Not much else is known about the film other than the fact that Will is set to reprise hours 2008 role–not even the plot! We do know that Irene Bedard will play a woman named Knowles Neeson, and Adam Fierro is writing the screenplay. This won’t be Beyoncé’s first movie, but this has the potential to be a very different role for her. She played a singer in Dreamgirls (not much of a stretch there), a singer/single mom in The Fighting Temptations, and a club singer/secret Agent in Austin Powers: Goldmember. We’re beginning to pick up on a theme here. She did briefly play a queen in the animated film Epic, though! Queen B hasn’t spoken out on the part just yet, so fans will have to wait and see what her character’s storyline is all about. The nerdy part of us is really hoping she has super powers. Please don’t make her a villain, Columbia Pictures! I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
will update you more later

Uwujaren said that the case would come up for hearing on July 15, 2014, adding that the immunity clause in the Constitution only applied to the President, the Vice President, sitting governors and their deputies, and not governors- elect.
