Ladies, can you ever consider wearing these grey coloured braids?

Hian! Never!

Etcetera comes for entertainers in new article, says their mansions & cars were bought in their dreams..

Chai! Etcetera will never change.. i so love his opening line..

And all liars shall go to hell – Rev 21:8.

Again, I’m going to go out on a limb here to talk on a subject that may not be very popular or nice to Nigerian celebs, especially the guilty ones. I have said it severally that just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean they are smart. They may have a talent or skill but many of them are not smart especially when it involves their finances. The old saying, “your lies will come back to haunt you” has never been more true than the recent cases of D’banj, Iyanya and Wizkid who are being kicked out of their homes after lying they owned the properties.
The residents of blogosphere boulevard were stunned when the news broke that D’banj got an eviction notice from his landlord and was also said to be highly indebted.

WEIRD: Woman changes name to Abcdefg Hijklmn Opqrst Uvwxyz

Ladyzunga Cyborg

A Colombian woman recently changed her name to include all 26 letters in alphabetical order. Her first name is Abcdefg Hijklmn while her last name is Opqrst Uvwxyz.

Before the latest change in nomenclature, the 36-year-old was called ‘Ladyzunga Cyborg’, a name she came up with along the line. She is notorious for the act but her latest stunt is believed to be extremely bizarre.

The Colombian in a recent television interview said: “I started looking for a name that nobody had in Colombia, or the world, so I thought about ABCDEFG HIJKLMN OPQRST UVWXYZ.

“I’ve changed my name so people wouldn’t know it’s me. It’s not because I was disturbed by it, but because I always wanted to bring an element of surprise.”

OMG! Muslim cleric poisoned client, chopped off his hands, head, private part..

Residents of Obele community in Oko-Agbola, Magbon area of Badagry, Lagos, were taken aback at the sight of policemen at the site of a swimming pool around the area on February 13, 2015. However, before their arrival, a crowd had gathered to watch the bloated headless body of a man in the river. At the approach of the policemen, the crowd disappeared into thin air for fear of possible arrest.
Fatai-Aderomu On closer observation , it was discovered that the headless man also had other parts of his body mutilated. For instance, his two breasts were slashed off, his two wrists chopped off and his chest region dissected, revealing a conspicuously deep hole. Not only that, his stomach was also discovered to have been sliced open with the intestines missing, as well as his manhood.
Before the arrival of the policemen, the crowd reportedly tried in vain to fathom the true identity of the headless man who was dumped in the river, stark naked. However, the nut has been cracked by operatives of the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigations Department ,SCID, Panti, Yaba, following the arrest of a Muslim cleric , otherwise known as Alfa.
The 27 year-old suspect, Alfa Fatai Aderomu, an Arabic teacher popularly known around Oko-Agbonla area of Magbon, is currently cooling his heels inside the dreaded cell at Panti. He gave a chilling account of how the headless body found its way into the river.

The headless man was later discovered to be one Rafiu Suleiman , a father of one, who also lived around the area. Further checks showed that he left home for his place of work in Apapa on Valentine day, February 14, 2015, but never returned. Apprehension reportedly set in next day following his continued absence, a development that led to his family reporting at Morogbo police division the next day.
Search, as gathered, had been conducted round the area, with visits to hospitals and mortuaries but he was not found. His wife and their 3-year-old baby were said to have waited in vain for the arrival of their 41-year-old bread winner, until news about the discovery of a headless man in Obele river reached them.

‘Police should confess if they’ve killed my son’-Father of detained teenager

Aliu Oladeni
The father of Aliu Oladeni, the 17-year-old teenager said to have been detained by the Igando Police Division for more than eight months, has pleaded with the police to tell him if they have killed his son so he could accept his fate.

Sixty-four-year-old Sunday Oladeni, on Thursday said he had become bankrupt because the police had continued to collect money from him with the promise of releasing his son, adding that he had also not stopped borrowing with the hope his son would return alive.

PUNCH Metro had reported on Wednesday that Aliu was taken to the Igando Police Division by his family, after a mob thronged their residence.

The mob had arrested a robbery suspect, Rasak, who reportedly mentioned his name as one of his accomplices in the operation.

Ikeja Magistrate’s Court

The long arms of law has caught up with three members of a robbery gang for allegedly attacking a cleric, Pastor Sylvester Anso, his wife and son while they were going back home from their church located on Amaku Segbor Street in the Ijanikin area of Lagos.

It was learnt that the suspects ─ Ibrahim Toheeb (20), Adam Morenkeji (18), Sodiq Ganiyu (20) ─ and others at large, descended on the family members while they were trying to cross to the other side of the road at Alaisa bus stop in the area.

A middle-aged palm tree harvester, George Maduabuchi, from Owerrinta in the Isiala-Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State is in the police net for allegedly selling his 14-month-old son for N300,000.

The father of four was said to have connived with another suspect, Obinna Erondu, now at large, to perpetrate the act.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Joshak Habila, who paraded the suspect along with other suspected criminals on Thursday, said, “Luck ran out on Maduabuchi when the wife alerted the police on his questionable role when the baby fell ill and he took him out and did not return with him.”

But the suspect told our correspondent that he did not sell his son, but only took him to a herbalist when he took ill.

Now, let's get started on today's news.....but before then, has anyone seen the video of the reporter thaty interviewed some of the protesters at the Chatham house  London yesterday? the protesters were there to express their grouse against GMB..
But the most disheartening thing is that they do not even have one single cogent reason for doing what they went to do at the Chatham house. they were obviously paid to do it. Now this brings me to this question that has been ringing in my ears since i saw the video....
Is this the best thing that the Nigerian youth can do? support what is obviously bad, for a few bucks? people said the protesters were paid $20, some said it was 50 euros....and for what? to further sink the name of Nigeria that has long ago been buried in mire?
To say i was disappointed is the least of the emotions i is so sad and pathetic.
Nigerian youths, please stand up , and think! i hope and pray things change for better.
God bless Nigeria. Amen.

Ehen, to the news.. :-D

Jonathan's visit to Lagos is a waste-Fashola, Ambode.
Governor Babatunde Fashola

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, and the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Thursday, took a swipe at President Goodluck Jonathan for his repeated visits to Lagos ahead of the March 28 presidential election.
They said the President was only being deceived by the state leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party as Lagosians would not vote for him.
While speaking at a rally in the Ifako/Ijaye Local Government Area of the state, Fashola said although Jonathan had a right to visit the state, his recent visits were hypocritical because when Lagos was facing its biggest challenge during the Ebola outbreak, the President never visited the state.

Duncan Mighty shades Buhari and supporters on Instagram

Above is what he posted on Instagram some hours back...

#I still don't get why people can't support their candidates without emotional attachments or sentiments, attacks on opposition's person, and all sorts of verbal abuse.. i guess Nigerians can not practise politics that is devoid of emotional sentiments..@WeLovePassionately

Full Speech given by APC presidential candidate Buhari at the Chatham house in London..

Below is the full transcription of the speech that Buhari gave at the Chatham house in London today..

Permit me to start by thanking Chatham House for the invitation to talk about this important topic at this crucial time. When speaking about Nigeria overseas, I normally prefer to be my country’s public relations and marketing officer, extolling her virtues and hoping to attract investments and tourists. But as we all know, Nigeria is now battling with many challenges, and if I refer to them, I do so only to impress on our friends in the United Kingdom that we are quite aware of our shortcomings and are doing our best to address them.
The 2015 general election in Nigeria is generating a lot of interests within and outside the country. This is understandable. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country and largest economy, is at a defining moment, a moment that has great implications beyond the democratic project and beyond the borders of my dear country.
So let me say upfront that the global interest in Nigeria’s landmark election is not misplaced at all and indeed should be commended; for this is an election that has serious import for the world. I urge the international community to continue to focus on Nigeria at this very critical moment. Given increasing global linkages, it is in our collective interests that the postponed elections should hold on the rescheduled dates; that they should be free and fair; that their outcomes should be respected by all parties; and that any form of extension, under whichever guise, is unconstitutional and will not be tolerated.

South Korea legalizes adultery..

Well, i guess they should be ready to battle all the diseases that comes with cheating and sleeping around... what in the world!!!i don't understand why a country would do such..

The story below is as reported by Aljazeera.

South Korea’s Constitutional Court on Thursday struck down a controversial adultery law which for more than 60 years had criminalised extra-marital sex and jailed violators for up to two years.

The nine-member bench ruled by seven to two that the 1953 statute aimed at protecting traditional family values was unconstitutional.

“Even if adultery should be condemned as immoral, state power should not intervene in individuals’ private lives,” said presiding justice Park Han-Chul.
In the past six years, close to 5,500 people have been formerly arraigned on adultery charges — including nearly 900 in 2014.

But the numbers had been falling, with cases that ended in prison terms increasingly rare.

Fayose is asking the APC to produce the real shekau...

Below is the new statement released by Ekiti governor Fayose, calling out the APC to produce the real Shekau.

“up till today, the APC has not made any statement, commending our gallant soldiers that are laying down their lives to save Nigerians from the Boko Haram insurgents,” saying, “instead of commending the soldiers and encouraging them, what the APC  are doing is to blackmail the military and one wonders why a party will want to take over power by supporting killing of innocent Nigerians.”

“With the onslaught on the Boko Haram by our gallant soldiers, the APC appears to have lost the game of using the insurgency to campaign against President Goodluck Jonathan.

President Jonathan speaks on why the audio tape of Ekiti election's rigging has not been probed.

“In fact, when this story came up, I asked the DG Department of State Security Service if they had investigated the matter, and he told me that they had some investigations, and then called for the person who claimed he recorded it and that he disappeared and nobody can reach him.”

“There was no formal petition before them, but because of the general interest, they wanted to have him interviewed to know where this was coming from. If someone comes up with a spurious allegation that has no substance and the person disappears, of course, what do you want me to do? Definitely, anytime we get him, he’ll have to substantiate his allegations.

Aliu Oladeni

The fate of a 17-year-old boy, Aliu Oladeni, who was clamped in detention by the Igando Police Station since June 2014, has remained unknown.

His relatives said the police at the division, who had been dribbling the family, collected over N160, 000 to release him on bail, but had yet to do so.

The victim’s relatives said they believed he was still alive, despite the side remarks by some people around the station that he might have been killed by the police.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Aliu was detained at the station as an accomplice in a robbery operation, after the prime suspect, identified as Sodiq, took a mob to his house.

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi's pay cut to N4M.
Stephen Keshi

It has been confirmed that Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi will not receive as much pay as he got during his first tenure as the Super Eagles coach.
Our correspondent learnt on authority on Tuesday that the new contract being offered him by the Nigeria Football Federation has his salary as N4m per month as against the N5m he was paid by the previous administration.
An official of the federation who asked not to be quoted because he was not authorised to speak on the issue said the current economic situation in the country was put into consideration in arriving at the salary for the former Eagles captain.
He said, “What has been done is just a simple adjustment of the pay to fit into the reality of our time. The football system is not different in any way from the general economy of the country.
“We are all aware that the world oil market has tumbled down and this is not peculiar to Nigeria.

Meet Josephine Agwu the honest airport cleaner who returned N12m to the owner..

Above is the face of Lagos most honest woman(probably).
She works in the Lagos airport, where she saw N12million naira....the owner had lost the money. what Josephine did was that she looked for the owner, and returned the cash, without touching it! Wow! she sure deserves an award...
Tribune Newspaper reports that the House of Assembly took the decision to invite Josephine to appear before it at a later date during its sitting following resumption from a month long recess.
It has, therefore, requested the Clerk of the House, Segun Abiru, to put everything in place to invite the lady to the House.

Joe Igbokwe blasts Fayose;Says he needs to see a psychiatric doctor asap!

This is what Joe Igbokwe has to say about the recent outbursts of Ekiti governor Fayose against APC presidential candidate, Buhari...
It is a tad harsh though....

Anybody who sees Ayo Fayose, the so-called governor of Ekiti State should please beg him to see a psychiatric doctor before it is too late. From the look of things now I do not know if the man ever sleeps at all.

From the look of things I can say authoritatively that he wakes up in the dead of the night to cry and curse the day General Buhari was born. I am sure he has fallen out with everybody; his siblings and members of his family included because of this Buhari factor.

After robbing former governor Fayemi of Ekiti State, Fayose has been on top of the world celebrating his so-called victory until the bubble burst.

When the result of the June 21 Ekiti gubernatorial election was made public I remember I told anybody who cares to listen that APC must find out what went wrong before it happens in other APC states. When the elections shifted to Osun State, APC knew that it has to stand up or PDP will get bolder and repeat the same onslaught.

omg! continue....
