In a chat with Saturday Beats, Seyi Law has explained how himself and wife were able to cope after the loss of their first child.
“The fact that we lost a child was very tough. Sometimes when you post something on the social media, people wonder why you bring your family issue to the social media. What they do not know is that you just want some words of encouragement. Sometimes you really cannot control the way bad news spreads. I have heard people say things like I cannot get a woman pregnant. When the news came out that I lost my child, it was more like a confirmation that I am a man. But by the special grace of God, I have another child now. What made that very painful was the fact that when we lost the baby, I did not know what to tell my wife and how to console her and that was a very difficult time for me. I needed to rely on the words of encouragement from people to stay strong for both myself and my wife.”
“One of the things I did was to take a lot of vacation and I spent more time with my wife. We went to different places.

Former workers and aides at Aso rock villa corroborates Reuben Abati's claims of mysterious occurences at the villa.
In his article in the Guardian newspapers of October 14, 2016, the former Special adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati painted a surreal picture of incredible things that go on beyond the glitz and glamour of the official residence and office of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, popularly called the Aso Rock.
In that article titled ‘The Spiritual Side of Aso Rock’, Dr Abati who served as President Jonathan’s spokesman for four years recounted strange and some times, tragic occurrences that befell people who work or live in the precincts of the presidential Villa.
Recounting personal experiences and those that happened to colleagues while he served in the highest office in the land, Dr Abati gave a depressingly worrisome scenario of the higher spiritual powers that tended to influence or dictate the happenings in the Villa which by extension had dire consequences for the country. He wrote in part: “I can confirm that every principal officer suffered one tragedy or the other; it was as if you needed to sacrifice something to remain on duty inside that environment. From cancer to brain and prostrate surgery and whatever, the villa was a hospital full of agonising patients …

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) once again lived up to its billing of being used by the current administration for the sinister purposes of silencing the opposition under the guise of fighting corruption.
As expected and as earlier stated in his press statement, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode had already raised the alarm that he was going to be rearrested by the EFCC as the
Organisation whose operations have become easily predictable have graduated from being an investigative body meant to serve the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians to a vindictive institution willing to do the biddings of some vengeful cabal whose existence even the wife of the president confirmed recently.
Let it be on record that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was held for 67 days in EFCC custody who used questionable orders from magistrates to perpetuate their illegality. While in their custody he suffered all forms of abuses, trauma and even physical attacks from some of the agents of the Commission. Their thinking was that all these torture and torments would be enough to silence him. But rather than being silenced, Fani-Kayode, to the consternation of his traducers, has remained faithful to his position right from the pre-election periods that this is a regime of evil men whose only purpose for wanting power was to waste their perceived enemies, their family members and all those associated with them. Is that not why despite the urgent need to tackle the economic recession they have plunged the country into, they have concentrated all their efforts on dealing with all members of the opposition and perceived enemies even including Honourable Justices of the Supreme Court.

“my landlord’s son, Jimoh Yusuf, attacked me right inside my apartment with broken bottles. My sin was that my husband allowed one of his friends into our apartment. “I was returning from my shop last Friday, when I met this family friend, Monday Michael, who lives opposite us. He told me to leave the house that my husband and our landlord’s son were quarrelling.
“I decided to go inside and change into something else. The family friend left for his house, while I entered our apartment. “I was trying to change my wears when Jimoh barged inside and started shouting.

The anti-graft agency accused the ex-minister of collecting N785 million from ONSA while in office.
His friends and associates are understood to be rallying around him to raise the funds as a first step to secure his bail.
