Kemi omololu olunloyo says SeyiLaw's baby was born with a disability.

In her new rant, koo wrote,
“#BREAKING I just received a call from one of @seyilaw1’s wife’s relatives in the UK who disclosed privately to me that his daughter Tiwa has a disability and medical complication she was born with. Tiwa cannot process #insulin well and therefore gains weight and retains fat like any hyperglycemic patient would. This sounds close to type 1diabetes also called juvenile diabetes. I spotted this baby as obese 6 months ago to educate others on a medical issue, her father acknowledged it and I also called @majeayida into it, a first clsss fitness trainer who I asked to write an article on child obesity to assist me as a pharmacist to educate Nigerians.
NEXT I was wrongfully imprisoned and Seyi said he was rejoicing when he heard that I was locked up because she called my baby “fat”. Rather than him apologizing for that, he insulted my entire family. Today my mom cursed him for saying she should have kept her placenta and thrown me away, called me a family reject and compared me with a dog with RABIES!
None of his fans saw him do wrong, they did not research the original post and all thought this online fight was between me and Seyi. It was about the child. Instead, I got curses and death threats. Some illiterates even thought the word “obese” was a bullying word when its actually a medical term. The other disability the child suffers is too much to say here. Pray for that girl. Seyi, I advise you take down your child’s photos from social media. To all the celebrities sarcastically cursing me out not mentioning my name, thank God u will remain scared of me forever posting her pictures and crowning her baby of the year as I made her famous in one weekend, ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE BIGGER PICTURE.
LEARN MORE ABOUT JUVENILE DIABETES. The immune system destroys cells in the pancreas. No more insulin is produced. The child becomes FAT for a lifetime #hnnhealth

i think Seyi should just ignore her. she is feeding off his fame with all these useless rants.

Etisalat has terminated its management agreement with its Nigerian arm and has given Etisalat Nigeria three weeks to phase out the brand in the country.

Chief executive of Etisalat International, Hatem Dowidar said on Monday that the there was no need for the brand in Nigeria after the collapse of the loan talks.

Nigerian regulators intervened last week to save Etisalat Nigeria from collapse after lenders were calling for the probe and total takeover of the company.

Although Etisalat Nigeria in a statement issued three weeks ago claimed that it had repaid 42 per cent of the loan.

“As at today, we can categorically state that the outstanding loan sum to the consortium(of banks) stands at $227m and N113bn, a total of about $574m if the naira portion is converted to US Dollars. This in essence means almost half of the original loan of $1.2bn, has been repaid.

Lagos state government gives reason why Lekki and Ikoyi is flooded.

The Lagos state government has released a statement on the flood that ravaged some parts of the state particularly Lekki, VI and Lagos Island. According to the statement, blocked drainages caused by indiscriminate dumping of refuse is a major cause of the flood. The statement also adds that the Lagoon which is supposed to receive all the rain water is currently swollen. Read the statement after the cut...

Lagos State Government on Sunday urged residents to remain calm and vigilant in the wake of the torrential rain experienced in the State in the last few days. State’s Commissioner for the Environment, Dr. Babatunde Adejare, who spoke after inspecting areas affected by the flood in the State, allayed fears of residents, assuring that the Government has activated its emergency response system to respond efficiently where necessary. He said most of the flooding would recede after a period of time, attributing the cause to the high tide of the lagoon, slowing down the flow of rainfall water from drainage channels.

"We are on top of the situation. The Government is concerned by the recent occurrence of flooding in some parts of Victoria Island, Lekki, Oniru and its environs and our emergency lines 112 and 767 are open 24/7 for residents to report any emergency situation," he said.

But more importantly, the Commissioner urged residents in the habit of dumping refuse indiscriminately especially in drainage channels to stop forthwith, saying that engaging in such does not only portend health hazards, but could also lead to loss of lives and property. He said dumping refuse in drainages meant to take flood water to the lagoon, blocks such channels and as such had dire consequences that could lead to loss of lives and properties.

Adejare also expressed concerns that despite the vigorous campaign by the Government on the dangers of dumping refuse indiscriminately, some people still engage in such act.

Akure residents claims police are also part of the cultists in ondo state..

The residents of Akure, the Ondo State capital, has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, to save them from incessant cult clashes in the community which have resulted in the loss of lives.

Specifically, the residents alleged that policemen and other security agents were members of the cult group. The development, according to them, made the fight against cultism difficult for the security agencies in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the Akure community in Akure on Sunday, a former Ambassador to Greece and Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, Prof. Olu Agbi, said Akure remains a peaceful community, accommodating and safe for investors to stay.

Agbi said the investigations have revealed that non-indigenes were mostly members of the secret cults that had been disturbing the peace of the community in the recent times, saying the Deji-in-Council was already looking into the development.

He said, “Reports reaching us indicate that some law enforcement agents are members of these secret cults which have made the fight against cultism difficult for the top hierarchy of the security agencies.

Dogara says Nigeria is now in a state of emmergency..

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, says Nigeria is currently in a state of emergency.

While speaking at a “Capacity/Interactive Needs Assessment Workshop of Security Sector Related Committees in the House of Representatives.” in Abuja yesterday, Dogara said the deployment of military personnel in over 28 states in the country to engage in civil and security duties constitutionally reserved for the Nigeria Police, is an indication that Nigeria is currently in a statement of emergency.
Soldiers who are meant to be complimenting the job of the police, can now be seen in all parts of the country, doing the civil duties of the police and other security agents. He added that this trend is worrisome.

Fayose says Aisha Buhari's hurried trip to London indicates that president Buhari is indeed on life support..

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the hurried trip to London by First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari was a confirmation that President Muhammadu Buhari’s health had deteriorated, saying that
Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said the governor, who addressed some journalists in Lagos on Monday, insisted that
“It is six days since I addressed the press and today, I still insist that the President is indeed on life-support.”
“The worsen condition of the President’s health necessitated the hurried trip of our First Lady, Her Excellency Aisha Buhari to London and it is hoped that she will have the courage to tell Nigerians the truth this time around.” No one is interested in President Buhari’s death. Rather, we are interested in freeing Nigeria from the hands of these few individuals who are presently holding the country to ransom.”
Governor Fayose, who maintained that President Buhari must resign, said;

The Nnamdi Kanu phenomenon. Written By Reuben Abati

The most discussed subject in Nigeria today is what is called “restructuring” and indeed so popular is this subject that it has attracted the attention of roadside commentators, the bright, the not-so-bright, the mischievous and the outrightly unintelligent all united by the singular claim that Nigeria belongs to all of us and we all have a right to determine its future.

The last person who brought up this subject with me is a mechanic in Abeokuta! He had heard about Biafra, the Arewa youths, the President’s absence, Professor Osinbajo, Nnamdi Kanu, what Igbo leaders, Northern leaders and Yoruba leaders have said about restructuring and he wanted a conversation. That’s how democracy works, not so?  The inclusiveness is actually very good for us…
But the point I have always made stands proven: that Nigeria remains an unanswered question, more than a century after the amalgamation of 1914. Before and after independence, virtually every government has had to deal with this same question, viz, the national question. Brought together in an unwieldy, unequal and uneven union by the British, Nigeria’s about 400 ethnic nationalities have been unable to transform into one nation, one union, a community of people and communities driven by a common purpose - to create a united, progressive nation, under the umbrella of patriotism and the common good.

We have fought each other since 1950 to date, we did not even all agree on independence, and since that happened, we have been at each other’s throats. We ended up fighting a civil war, and from all indications we are at this moment, seemingly preparing for another one. The laziest excuse is that the British caused all our problems, but more than 50 years after independence it should be clear enough that we are the source of our collective agony.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) will resist plans by some tertiary institutions to increase tuition fees, its President, Mr Chinonso Obasi has said.

Obasi, in a statement he issued on Wednesday in Abuja, said that NANS had received the report that no fewer than 38 tertiary institutions had concluded plans to jack up tuition fees.

The NANS president said that the association was pained by the move as Nigerian students had over the years been made to bear the brunt of administrative ineptitude of managers of tertiary institutions.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had on Monday alerted Nigerians to the increase of tuition fees by 38 universities due to poor funding by the federal and state governments.

He regretted that the APC-led administration had not showed enough commitment to improving the education sector and the plight of students.

He described the recorded audio message released by the Presidency as a damage control strategy, one which moved him to set the records straight with his statement.

Arrested Kidnap Kingpin, Evans collected $1.2 to free this man in 2015

James Uduji, the Chairman of Cometstar Cable Manufacturing Limited was kidnapped by the Evans gang for for 42 days in 2015. And to get his freedom, he paid the gang $1.2m, the highest ransom ever paid by any of Evans victims.

Below is what Uduji told the Vanguard about his harrowing experience in the hands of Evans and his kidnapping crew.

How he Was Kidnapped

On September, 2015, as I was coming back from my factory in Agbara to my home in Festac, arriving Seventh Avenue, I saw four gun men. They stopped in front of my vehicle and started shooting while I was with my two drivers in my Hilux pickup.
I was sitting at the back, thinking they were policemen. I was wondering why they were shooting and charging at us not knowing that they were kidnappers. In the process, they shot us, me and two of my drivers but luckily, nobody died. I still have a bullet in my body.
By the time I realized they were kidnappers, they dragged me out of my vehicle to their own Lexus 470 Jeep. Inside their Jeep, there were lots of arms and ammunition inside a box. They had another box at the back where they put me in.
Four guys were inside that Jeep, well-armed, even the driver had his own AK-47 riffle. They drove past Festac Link Bridge to Amowu-Odofin, around 4:30pm as if they were going to Okota. Later, they came out to Oshodi -Apapa Expressway. By this time, they had not blindfolded me but they pushed my head down, lying bare on the floor of the car. One of them just held me as I was seriously bleeding. I never knew I would survive this. I couldn’t remember the places they took me to because I was lying down.
After a long journey, they stopped at a particular area, those guys jumped down and another group came on board and zoomed off again.
As we were going, we got to one house, they called the security guard who came and opened the gate, and they brought me out, gathered water, changed their cloths and called one doctor, whether he was quack or not, I do not know.
They told the doctor they had emergency. The doctor came, washed me and treated my wound. That was the first thing they did. Though, when we were about to get to where they wanted to take me to, they blind folded me.

They were administering two injections on me daily. When I asked them the kind of injection they were giving me, they said it was anti tetanus injection and pain reliever. They refused to give me water saying that if you have bullet in your body, you don’t drink water.
