It is no longer news that the Ooni of Ife, HRM Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s marriage to beautiful Wuraola Zaynab Otiti (née O) has hit the rocks, less than two years after it was contracted in an elaborate ceremony. Since the news of the crash broke, many have hurled accusations bordering on infidelity on Olori Wuraola and also called her unprintable names. However, a close source to the estranged couple has revealed the real reason Olori Wuraola voluntarily packed out of the palace, otherwise known as the House of Oduduwa. The source disclosed to Spy Glass that Olori Wuraola had been victimised by some of Ooni’s family members due largely to the fact that she is not Yoruba and because they wanted to turn her to their slave. She, according to the source, however, bore the pains silently because she not only loves her husband but respects the institution of marriage.

Are you really serious about your ambition to become Anambra State governor?
It’s not a joke. It is a movement to serve and work for my people and offer them a valued experience that they would never forget. As a youth who believes in this country and in my state, I decided to come out. We’ve been hearing that youths are the leaders of tomorrow for too long, and now that the age requirement for running for office has been officially reduced by the National Assembly, I’ve decided to make good use of the opportunity. I am here to save the future. The election is just a few months away, how do you intend to stand up against politicians who have been on the field for longer?
I know that they wouldn’t give me the chance because they’ve been doing it for a very long time. But if I have the support of the youths, we would emerge victorious. I’m not scared; I just implore the youths to support me. Which platform would you be running on?
I really cannot say much about that now because my campaign manager has instructed me not to say anything. Do you have any prior experience in politics?
I’ve never been involved in politics before now. It is the hunger and drive for transformation and progress that is pushing me.

In a statement released by her media team, the embattled former Minister says she cannot forfeit properties or monies that she does not rightfully own. The embattled ex-minister said the anti-graft agency has never notified her of any evidence or indictment so that she would prepare to have legal representation in court. “I am deeply disturbed and bewildered by recent media reports claiming that by virtue of an order of the federal high court, I have forfeited to the federal government the sum of $153.3m, which I purportedly stole from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Whilst the reasons for my being out of the country are public knowledge, the principle of fair hearing demands that I should have been notified of formal charges if truly there was a prima facie evidence or indictment against my person linking me with the said issue, so as to ensure that I had adequate legal representation. This was never done. I wish to state that I cannot forfeit what was never mine.
